From a simple Excel sheet in 2018 to a full Android app in 2025 — built to help contractors quote faster, explain better, and reduce mistakes on real tiling jobs.

How it started

2018
The idea for Tiler Quote began on real sites where tile quantities, cement bags, grout, and labour were being calculated over and over again. To save time, a practical tool was built first in Excel — focused on tile coverage, boxes, and a simple material list.
2018–2024
Over the years the sheet was tested and refined across many projects. Extra logic was added for skirting, borders, accessories, and cleaner client outputs. It reduced errors, made it easier to explain quotations, and helped keep everything consistent from one job to the next.
2025
In 2025 the project grew into a full Android app — Tiler Quote — with smart estimates, saved quotes, professional PDFs, and optional Google Drive backups, so more contractors could use the same workflow on their phones instead of juggling many spreadsheets.

Tiler Quote is built to help contractors and tilers create clear, professional quotations and invoices in minutes — not hours.

The goal is simple: give you an accurate picture of tiles, mazeras, accessories, and labour so you can price confidently, avoid surprises on site, and communicate clearly with clients and suppliers.

How it’s designed

Tiler Quote is designed from real tiling work: area calculators, tile & mazeras modes, skirting, borders, accessories, and clean PDF outputs that clients actually understand.

It aims to stay practical: easy enough for everyday use on site, but powerful enough to handle the details on larger projects.
